6 Hours In Queensbay

with...Ellex, I'm so glad you came back. I have waited patiently for a few months for this day. You're beautiful as always, don't give a damn to what other people said..:P

We did EAT a lot. Keropok lekor, New Zealand ice-cream, Dave Deli's chicken & mushroom pie and also...

having lunch in the toilet (T-Bowl Concept). We placed our order then did a little cam-whoring at the place. My students told me not to waste my money there as the food tasted horrible, but we just wanted to try it out ourselves....

then we had the waitress taking photos for us as we paid 5% service tax...hahaha...

I would like to have either one of these toilet bowls in my dream house in a few years time...
I would like to have the red one as I like red colour and I am obsessed with seahorse. The dolphins look cute, too. Then, came the food.. quite disgusting to scoop it out from the toilet bowl..
My Japanese seafood tofu soup tasted like chicken stock soup, I can cook better than that. Too little seafood, no clams just 2 miserable prawns, a few slices of squids, a few pieces of fish meat, 1 stick of crabmeat stick cut sideways into two pieces, a lot of mushroom, su hoon, and lots and lots of vegetables which I HATE MOST!! I'm a carnivore not a herbivore. Ellex's cheese baked rice memang tidak sedap but have to swallow it anyway. Not to say everything tasted bad, I love this..
Hayoo... about to finish baru snap photos, the kiwi fruits sudah habis ditelan Ellex...
In conclusion, I thanked God for today. I am very happy that I get to speak to you for so many hours. I appreaciate it a lot, talking to a real friend, not like some people who think without them the whole world will stop. With that kinda people, the world will move in the opposite direction because they are so shallow-minded and just like 'sampah masyarakat'... haven't even achieve anything in life but their lives are so bitter yet condemning other people.. I wonder what will they achieve by using 'bombastic' and 'vulgar' words attacking other people. I would love to class these people as 'Losers' but instead I will want to bless them. Their dictionaries have nothing except for the 'f' word. I wonder how their parents taught them. I really thank God that eventhough I'm not from a well-off family, my mother taught me well.
I'm proud of who I am today... without tertiary education...I am still an achiever!! AMEN!

No More Hair Cut

Simon came back from Singapore for a week-long holiday. Met up in Prangin and waited for him to install new programme into his PDA. I am one person who cannot sit still for long so I walked around and saw an advertisement... "Student Cut RM5". Since I cut my hair only once a year, it is almost time to get another hair cut, so off I zoomed down to the third floor. It was suppose to be a quick cute as I requested for 'straight cut' no layer, no perm just a simple 'straight'.

It was a nightmare and the worst hair cut I have ever had. I promise myself not to be stingy anymore. From now on, I am willing to pay at least RM35 for a profesional cut or even more. *Sigh*

I asked for lower than shoulder length, but in the end I got the cut which is suitable for me to go back to school... a Chinese school in fact...

This was also the longest hair cut... I sat there from 4:30p.m. to 7:15p.m. wasted my time. I should have been brave enough to walk out of that shop and run away as fast as I could...

Anyway, I had the best seafood dinner in Good Friend Seafood Restaurant in Teluk Kumbar after that. My all-time favourite place. Not costly yet extremely delicious.. I love the satay especially...

I am very happy minus that lousy haircut... I will patiently wait for another three years before I get myself another haircut.. I want to eat that satay again...

Milky and I

That is surely a large Golden Retriever only 2 years old if I'm not mistaken. Milky belongs to my ex-student. He's camera shy so have to grab him to face the camera... hehehe... handsome dog..

That is DiDi the brown poodle. He's cute and cheeky, too... but I do not like poodles. I want to have another dog but I already have a dog at home and my dog will not allow any other dog to step into the house...

How Do I Worship God In A Tragedy?

Tell God how you feel

[Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the heard of every street.] Lamentations 2:19

["Therefore, I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul."] Job 7:11

[I believed; therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted."] Psalm 116:10

[From my mouth I have been afflicted and close to death; I have suffered your terrors and am in despair.] Psalm 88:15

["Don't call me Naomi," she told them. "Call me Mara, because the Almighty has mady my life very bitter.] Ruth 1:20

[O Lord, you deceived me, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me.] Jeremiah 20:7

Praise God in spite of the circumstances

  • A good and loving God [and said: "Naked I come from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised." In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.] Job 1:21-22 [You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.] Job 10:12
  • All-powerful ["God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?] Job 36:22 [God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.] Job 36:5 [The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.] Job 36:23
  • Notices every detail of my life [But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.] Job 23:10 [Does he not see my ways and count my every step?] Job 31:4
  • In control [Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world?] Job 34:13
  • Has a plan for my life [He carries out his decree against me, and many such plans he still has in store.] Job 23:14
  • Will protect me [The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.] Job5:11 [Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face.] Job 13:15 [ And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?] Hebrews 3:17-18

Ask God for strength and help

["To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.] Job 12:13

[I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.] Psalm 3:5

[Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.] Psalm 105:4

Keep focused on God and his promises

["I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."] John 16:33

[Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.] 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

.....

That spells it out loud and clear. My standard one girl brought plasticine to the class. She is so lazy that I have to make that and stick it on her table. In the end, she pasted everything on the whiteboard... I reminder to herself and maybe to me also. I'm hardworking yet I'm lazy... what an irony.

Business is rolling in from everywhere... I have too much to do until I'm very tired. Too tired until I feel really really lazy. *Sigh* I better buck up and change to turbo speed.

Ellex, come back and we spend some time yakking face to face instead of typing on the keyboard...

A Trip To The Pig Sty

Wah!! Aku disambut dengan mesra sekali oleh penduduk-penduduk kandang ini....
I used to go to the pig sty when I was small. The pig sty is owned by my maternal grandmother. It is a lucrative business as a full grown pig can cost up to RM8 000. That is a female pig lying down, doing nothing at all. It has a smirk on its face...wonder what was it thinking about. No wonder pigs are fat. They are caged in narrow cages where they do not have room to exercise. No room to stretch or walk about. Just able to stand up and then lie down again... in the same position.

That cute piglet is so special... the only brown piglet among all pink piglets.. like the ugly duckling. Pigs have very little hair thus, they look so smooth and silky. Very soft to touch, too.

I will NEVER eat pork anymore. They are so dirty. They have a fun time sliding and rolling on their food and swimming in their shit.. even though they bathe twice a day with clean water but they are still yucky....

To sum it all up, it was quite an interesting trip as it was different from the normal visit to the zoo or shopping till the pocket goes empty. It is a real 'kampung' experience. I just wanted to go there to snap photos of pigs...
ELLEX, you smell REEEAAALLYYY nice. *Oink! Oink!*
Me standing on the maize hill. It's the first time I saw so much jagung setinggi bukit. Sorry for stepping on your food ayam-ayam sekalian..

God's Promises 2

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

God's Promises

The sunset. It was very beautiful. It was like I sank together with the sun. Many people asked me to hang to what I have built yet at times it was just so difficult. I was afraid of being a failure, afraid of destroying what I have built, afraid of what people would think of me. I prayed. God is not in my pocket but He's always by my side. He is a God who answers prayers. This was what He showed me after I prayed and surrendered everything to Him.

A rainbow.
"... I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the Earth." (Genesis 9:13)
... God had power to do what he had promised. (Romans 4:21)
THE BEATITUDE
" Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the Earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteouness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted you the prophets who were before you."
[Matthew 5: 3-12]
AMEN

My Ol' Fren..

Penang is soooo BBBIIIIGGGG but both of us have no where to head to. So ended up in Queensbay Mall. We bought tickets to watch 'Money No Enough 2' and then went down to Baskin Robbins... first time I makan ice-creamnya. I took the photo of the ice-cream tapi hilang from my PDA entah pergi mana. I think my PDA ate that ice-cream liao.

Nah.. found the ice-cream from the PDA liao... sot sot punya PDA... took my ice-cream for no reason now baru gave me back...

I watched 'Money No Enough 2' twice. After watching with Annie, then Sunday watch with mama. After our movie session, we rushed off to Sunway Tunas to have lunch at Ben's Diner. We reached at 2:17pm tapi the diner closed at 2:15pm. Ish!! Geramnya!! Rush all the way for nothing. Ended makan lunch di Four Seasons Restaurant. Annie didn't like the food and I also don't like the food. It's too simple and I can cook that type of dishes also.

Annie flying off to UK to do her Masters in Finance. Will be back next year. See you next year pal!

Doctors-to-be... Very Soon..

I have not seen them for at least seven years.. rite after form 5. We walk in different paths. Chun Lin sat beside me in class for two years. We did quarrel in class for a few times but in the end we are still friends. She has changed - becoming more sexy. Janet is still her cheeky self. We spent a couple of hours at Hongkie Kopitiam in E-gate. The food that both of them ordered was horrible.. tapi habiskan juga. Most of the time I have no idea what they were talking about. Sitting with doctors on a table can create migraine. Stress... but still I enjoyed their company.

7 - The Number of P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N

My bowl of rice - that's my tuition business. It's not something that I wanted or what I dream about doing but it just happened. There's no way I can run away from it as it keeps on growing. It takes 7 years for it to be stable. That's is how patient I my which surprises me as for those who know me I am one impatient person. I cannot even wait for a minute yet I have waited patiently for 7 years. What an irony.... It must be God's way for me to practice my patience... Patience is a virtue.

My desserts - watersports, catalogue business and sales.
www.runwiththewave.com My passion for jet skis spur me to start this business. The dream that God gave me pulled the trigger. It is not easy to set up a company. It may be small but the groundwork is suffocating me. Starting and building my tuition empire is not difficult at all as everything runs smoothly as plan... but starting Run With The Wave is like climbing Mount Everest which I will never try... not even Mount Kinabalu... I have come so far thus, I will continue. I will not give up that easily because whenever I have the feeling of giving up, there is always someone giving me sound advice and I get all the support that I needed. The presence of the Lord is strongly felt as this company is growing from ground zero. God really send angels to watch over me.

Catalogue business is a business I accidentally stumbled upon. I have no intention to sell clothes, bags or accessories. Found the small company, took a few sets of catalogues, flip them through, don't like it, left it in the car. A few days later, my students found the catalogues, flip them through, love them, took the catalogues home. In 7 days, I received lots and lots of orders from them. They are officially running the business and I'm just their backbone.. financial support. They want to try their hands on business... so why not... at least they have experience.

Rx-water filter. That I'm not doing anything. Just follow the programme. Bank in the money and see it coming back every month. A Malay friend everything. Win-win situation. This takes 7 days, too.

Conclusion:
God is very very much alive. He has proven to me that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I am not a failure even though I have no tertiary education. He will always guide me through and carry me through the storms. Amen!

A Priceless Adventure - Ellex Ting with the Japanese Girl

I have waited for more than a month for this outing. 13th of August 2008 finally arrived. The weather was wonderful. Bright sunshine and only small waves in the morning. The sea was very calm. We left for National Park at around 8:15a.m. with two jet skis.

Ellex... Ellex... Getting ready for the hike. Combing her hair nicely and neatly so that she wouldn't scare the monkeys away. The Japanese girl just sits there and smile. I was mistaken as a Japanese by Pak Din, a boat man and a massager in Batu Ferringhi. I should learn a few Japanese words to play along... will do that next time.

Ahhh.... what a blissful moment. Ellex was happy to enjoy the sea breeze. She was blessed to be able to have a day out with the Japanese girl. She was too happy beyond comprehension.

Or should I say the Japanese girl was really glad that the Chinese girl took an extra day off from work to accompany her to do crazy stuff in the island? Hmm... how should I put it then?

That was outside the USM research centre. What were they researching on?
Peaceful... cooling... windy... relaxing... happy... blessed. I felt all these at once when we reached Monkey Beach. I love the serenity of the beach. It's a good place to relax after being tied down by work. It's a secluded place and a suitable place for barbecue and spending time with friends and family.

Oh... simply irresistible. That was the first jet ski which I rode on. That was the jet ski which made me fall in love with the sea. I was heavily addicted to jet skis but God always has a way to show a bigger picture of everything. My passion turns into business thus, I can feed on my addiction for jet skis.

We wallowed in the sea water for some time. The water was kinda refreshing to the body but of course, it was very salty... but I'm slowly getting accustom to the salt water. Salt water is good for the skin therefore, I have free skin care. We sat and chatted with Pak Din - a wise guy at the age of 57. I got to interview him secara tidak langsung.

At 2p.m. the guys came and we rode back to Ferringhi Beach. The wind was strong and it was quite choppy but I loved it even more. When we got back, we spent another half an hour on the sea. Then, we went for parasailing. It was the best sail of my life. The wind was so strong and the beach operator was kind enough to bring us far out on the sea... far far away from the beach.
I am very happy right until now. I'm glad that I have a friend, a best friend indeed who is willing to share my passion with.
Ellex!! We do this again together next year! Remember to bring sunblock if not next time round our skin really rentung. This was my second time kena sunburn.

Act on Impulse!

I have the urge to go to the beach and do some crazy stuff again! Then, off we go with Miss Tan Chi Lin, my cute gal. Brought her for a 30 minutes jet ski ride. She screamed for the whole 30 minutes and she was louder than the waves... what powerful lungs she has....After that she screamed for another few minutes in the air... We landed lying on the sandy beach

After that we did a little of cam-whoring on the beach... It was surely a great evening. We played for free coz' I picked up RM200 at the parking lot. Two free pieces of RM100 on the floor... sudah digelek oleh banyak tayar kereta... God sent us the money to play and had dinner in KFC for free.... I feel really blessed...
It was a really spontaneous idea to come to the beach. I love the beach... It's very incomprehensible how much I love going to the beach for watersports. However, I will not just go to the beach to sit and relax... I doubt I can sit down quietly for even a minute doing nothing.
That's the best way to describe how we felt. Superbly fun! Ellex Ting!! I can't wait to go with you on Wednesday the 13th of August!!

RUN WITH THE WAVE

Yes... that's the name of my company... the only company in Penang which offers watersports activities at the lowest rate in the whole world. I am hooked to jet ski and this is my dream. I have turned it into reality with God's help. Without God in the picture, I'm a nobody. God actually dropped me that idea when I was asleep. I woke up with this excitement in me... I don't know how to explain, you have to be me to really understand what was going on at that time.

To cut the long story short, I registered my company a week after having the dream... RUN WITH THE WAVE... I hope to make it explode in our small little island of Penang. RUN WITH THE WAVE offers you the lowest rate in jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat ride, beach buggy and horse riding. Fishing trip and barbecue come together as one activity. You do not have to bring any fishing equipment. Just bring yourself and drinking water. Food is prepared, too.

The location is in Batu Feringghi beach right behind Golden Sands. You will see the company streamers and banners throughout the island in no time. It's a very new and unique company, therefore I wish I will get the support from Penangnites.

Send me your email address so that I can send you the package prices. There are 5 categories which you can choose from. Add me in your MSN : vincep60@hotmail.com .
Come and feel the wave of Penang. God bless! You are welcome to be my company's promoter with high commission rate. Come and join me for a fantastic experience. Love you ppl!
With RUN WITH THE WAVE that horse has become a part of my life, too. The horse is Sasha. And that's my new friend, Janet Lee. Met her at the gym. A God send since I complained that I don't have friends, God sent me one, also a sister-in-Christ.

Another New Activity

Clark Hatch!! Here I come... hmmm.... I cannot imagine that I actually signed up for the fun of it. There are lots of equipments but sad to say I do not have the time to attend the personalize training. Its a good activity to kill time especially I'm kinda free in the morning.

Sunday evenings will be kept for jet-skiing session... Life is great! Praise God for that! Now I can't wait to go hiking with my sister. First outing with my sister after 24 years knowing her. Love you sis! Will go hiking again when my brother is back from Australia. Love you ppl...

Then again I can't wait for Ellex Ting to come back to spend a day with me doing crazy and wacky stuff. Miss you pal!

Aku berasa amat bahagia.....

My New Found Hobby

Hmmm... this blog of mine has been abandoned for a long time. I should start blogging now since I do not keep a manual diary of what I have been doing with my life. For instance, I have no idea what I did with my life at the age of 19,20 and 21. I was sort of floating in the air at random.

I have found a new expensive hobby - Jet-skiing
Another relaxing activity that can be carried out to relax and clear the cobwebbed mind is parasailing.... that's me behind trying to get both of us down in one piece....
I managed to get the best deal, cheaper than any locals can get.... have loads of fun running on the waves and along with the waves... thrill me to the bones. For first timer, I will recommend jet-skiing in Monkey Beach... no waves... very tame water. Feringghi will be too rough for first-timer. Who wants to go with me? I would love to have friends who will enjoy what I am doing...
