Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you. That sounds very very much like a Bible verse but if you flip thru the whole Bible, you cannot find it. You find this instead in Luke 6:31
Same like this one... God cannot help those who do not want to help themselves. This statement is also NOT in the Bible. Instead, GOD HELPS THOSE WHO ARE HIS.
- This is what the Lord says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord." [Jeremiah 17:5]
- He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe. [Proverbs 28:26]
