Where to Eat: Next Stop~!!!

Now... now... Gracie has an invitation to do food blogging. I'm just one of her sidekicks. An invited food blogger would write everything positive to write good stuff about the food in a particular place. It's like you've been paid through your stomach when you get to try out most of the main dishes in the place. I will be totally honest with you because I've cursed high and low at food bloggers who wrote good things about a particular restaurant but when we landed ourselves there, the food just sucks to the maximum. I have very high taste for food because I can cook very well, just to say. 

It's like our little 'overseas' trip. It was over the sea.  Gracie had to drive over the bridge to get to the mainland. We were on our way to the Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya. There IS a Next Stop in 1st Avenue but we prefer the further one. We are after all adventurous people but with very little free time in hand. So, we seized this as an opportunity to venture a little out of our small island.

The most common place to go to for fast food would be KFC and McD. Now, you can go to the Next Stop for a more fishy meal. It's healthy unless you're one fussy eater who calculates the calories of your food and rejects anything deep fried. You can recognize Next Stop from afar as it uses a red bus as the front.

Come join me for an eating spree. For starter, you can get yourself a small paper platter of Cheesey Stix. Next Stop uses only Cheddar in the bread-crumb coated Cheesey Stix. It's only RM7.90, worth exercising your mouth with before getting the main dish. Oh, well... if you dislike anything cheesey, why not have yourself the salt & pepper squid. If you love squid as much as I do, then you're gonna love it.

For something heavier to fill your stomach, if you're craving for burgers, get yourself a fish sandwich. I like it because there's no vege in it. Not enough to even fill one-tenth of your stomach? Get something else. It's not like you only order one item whenever you're in a fast food restaurant.

There's the creamy mushroom seafood spaghetti with the prawn twist. The gravy is thick enough, it's not diluted like other places.

A plate of fish and chips should be enough for a kid. 

All those are not worth savouring? Are you sure? Do you need something else? By the way, they're not using the cheap Dory fish. Next Stop is using the Alaskan Pollock fish but sometimes they use the yellow tail snapper. You can't expect a restaurant to use the same kinda fish everyday. It depends on the availability in the market. Some might not understand this but please, do understand the predicaments that restaurateurs face daily.

Hey, you can also choose to have your tea over at Next Stop. Either the tom yam soup will make your day or the seafood chowder that goes very well with the dinner roll. On top of that, get yourself a crumb fish burrito. It's time to try it out if you haven't.

Price wise... I think you are familiar with the pricing of food in shopping complexes and fast food chain. 

Wait~!!! There's dessert as well... the sorbet came all the way from South Africa. Which one do you prefer... the mango-orange sorbet or the pina colada (coconut) sorbet? We prefer the mango-orange sorbet but you do not have to follow what we like.
