Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord...

Now change your mind and attitude to God and turn to Him, so He can cleanse away your sins and send you wonderful times of refreshment from the presence of the Lord.

Your mind is the arena for success or failure. An unrenewed mind can be used by the devil to control our life. Eery work of the devil starts in the mind - every evil thing. Jesus said all evil things begin as thoughts. He even listed these evil things that proceed out of a person's thoughts...

He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean'. For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean'.

Changing the destructive thought programme

1. A DEFINITE MIND AND ATTITUDE CHANGE - "Now change your mind and attitude to God and turn to Him..." Each day we need to be changing and growing more like Jesus... To do this we must feed upon the Word of God, read and study uplifting materials and view things that are godly and mind-building.


2. GOD'S CLEANSING POWER - "so He can cleanse away your sins". People today are trying all sorts of methods to remove their past, their problems and their destructive mind sets. Only Jesus can forgive and cleanse the root cause of these problems - sin. And He will, if we come the Bible way!
   
3. WONDERFUL REFRESHMENT - "and He will send you wonderful times of refreshment from the presence of the Lord". When we choose a right attitude to God, and have a clean conscience, He blesses us with a tremendous refreshment and freedom. Check out your thought life today and make sure it is on God's programme!
