The word 'delight' means 'to please greatly, to take great pleasure in and to thoroughly enjoy'. Are you 'thoroughly enjoying' the Lord right now? If you are not, then you are missing out on God's desire for your life. If you are delighting yourself in the Lord and taking great pleaseure in serving Him, then God will give you the godly desires fo your heart.
Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence.[Proverbs 8:30]
