We went back to our hotel, parked the car and decided to hunt for dinner later. We just wanted to explore the surrounding area on foot. There were surprisingly a lot of teenagers taking over the area.
I think we've chosen the wrong date to be there. It was Schoolies' Nation Beach Festival. An event for those high school graduates if I'm not mistaken. We were really not into crowds so we had a quick walk around, looking at shops, restaurants and more shops. Hey, there's a store selling Chinese dried stuff, no worries in getting ingredients for Chinese restaurants for the soup base. The price is way too high.
Walked to Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre and headed straight into Coles. I like Coles and Woolsworth as much as I like Walmart.
We went to the beach for a few minutes. Mi madre and I did not step on the sand at all. Look how happy the travel buddy was~! She loved the warm weather. I was against the weather, though.
The travel buddy wanted to have luxury food so we Google search for the best place but the best place require some driving which both of us were not willing to do. We did not want to brave the traffic with so many people thronging the streets and it was jam packed.
God know's better where we should go for dinner.
