Goodness and Love...[132]

Not only do we receive God's favour, but we can also drink from the river of His pleasures.

They feast on the abundance of your house;

you give them drink from your river of delights.

[Psalm 36:8] This is the river that shall never run dry.

"Come, all you who are thirsty,

come to the waters;

and you who have no money,

come, buy and eat!

Come, buy wine and milk

without money and without cost.

[Isaiah 55:1]

There is a thirst of the soul that very frew people ever hasve satisfied. Only God can do that. From John 4:14...

While the world pursues pleasures and happiness, that are only temporary, we can 'drink at the river of His pleasures'.There are drinking fountains that have no button or lever to push and no tap to turn .There is nothing observable to make this drinking fountain work. However, there is an invisible beam of light, that when a person bends over, and is exposed to, triggers off the water release and the person can drink freely. As we expose ourself to God's goodness and love each day, we can drink from the fountain of His wonderful blessings.
