The Promise Of Peace

Now, where can you read all calamities happening at once? Of course, the newspaper! You can read about accidents, murders, committing suicides, rape cases, kidnapping, natural disasters and today, after an Indian girl got her SPM results yesterday, she jumped down from her school building. Her tongue was gone... how come ar? Die is better than suffering like that. But why so silly as to commit suicide... it's not like the whole Earth is coming down on her. Why so silly!

We should cherish our life as we are born healthy and externally perfect!

We continually hear reports of tragedies around the globe. And we may be troubled by personal problems and crises. We long for and pray for peace.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through out Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1
Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 5:11
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Romans 12:18
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
Luke 2:14
Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin?
The blood of Jesus whispers peace within;
Peace, perfect peace, our future all unknown?
Jesus, we know, and He is on the throne. —Bickersteth
