The Supermoon from Penang...

I waited. I waited. I waited some more. I was waiting for a huge moon. I waited yesterday and today. Today was a little bit upsetting as it was raining.I did not have to go far. I just need to push the window open but I chose to be more hardworking. I opened the front door and walked out of the house *cheer for me please* and stood at the front gate, of course on the inside part, not the outside.
Thank you for the borrowed patience...
Thank you for the borrowed professionalism...

I begged one of the SunChasers to snap the supermoon for me. Actually, not much begging. I was trying to convert a SunChaser into a MoonChaser. No... no... no... that sounded very wrong. Let me try to rephrase that. I was borrowing the patience and professionalism of a passionate photographer. If one can chase after the sun, one can surely wait upon the moon to appear from behind the clouds. I don't want to chase anything. I just want what I wanted to fall on my lap. The two photos ↟ of course, were taken by the professional with lots of patience. Mine was done in a fast motion.
This is mine~!
No clouds... just the bright moon

When it was blood moon, Penang did not really see it. Now that it was Supermoon, we did not see it clearly either. It was just brighter than before but the size, the size was just like the usual moon. I know, I speak as if we have a few moons orbiting around the Earth.
I feel like howling like a wolf~!
Au-wwwwooooooooooo~!
Can't you just grow any bigger?

I did take a few more today but it was just the same as yesterday's. Until I saw that same moon taken from Tibet, at the border of China. Okay, I think I have nothing to say. I can only say Supermoon really never exist in this part of the Earth. No shooting stars in Penang also. No twinkle twinkly little stars. If I really want to chase after the moon all the way to another country, I need to convince my travel buddy. My travel buddy no longer believes in looking at sunrise. She would say,"Shut up~! Go back to bed~! Don't disturb me~!" If I say I want to see sunset, she will Google those images for me. The travel buddy has never stare at the moon as well, she would rather stare on her iPad screen watching the handsome Korean artistes.

KL Food Hunt: American Burgers and American Popcorns...

Carl's Jr.
We do enjoy burgers. That was our second time having Carl's Jr. They were burgers, what more to say?
Johnny Rockets
Johnny Rockets came to Malaysia. We had this at the airport before Johnny Rockets came to Penang. Johnny Rockets claimed to be the original burger. I think I will go to America and find out about it and taste other burgers in America, if only I get to apply the visa in future.
Garrett Popcorn
Yes, nice. I like the caramel ones. What about Planet Popcorn? Isn't Planet Popcorn equally as good?

KL Food Hunt: Suki-ya at 1 Mont Kiara...

Our Pakistanis friends have arrived. I brought them to a eat-all-you-can Japanese-styled steamboat.
It was their first time having steamboat and eating shellfish. There was an array of food to choose from.
The shabu shabu meat was refillable but we could not do that. I think our stomach has shrunk. My stamina for eat-all-you-can buffet was no longer there. Oh, no~!
Not bad la the food just that the shopping mall was small and really quiet.

KL Food Hunt: Hokkaido Ichiba - KITA no Zen

Lunch was a treat from hubby's best friend. We were asked to decide where we would want our lunch to be. My precious and I went searching for the big screen to see what was there for us to eat. We took quite some time to think, hogging the screen. In the end, we decided to go for Japanese.
Hokkaido Ichiban was as the basement. Whoa~! The place was huge~!!
I love the sashimi set the most. Everything else was excellent. Japanese cuisine is really good but of course, Chinese Cantonese cuisine is good, too. Cannot compare between these two.
Thank you for the lunch treat~!

Uncle Tetsu's Cheesecake...

We were in One Utama and we stumbled upon Uncle Tetsu. This was one holiday that I did not plan properly. I like hanging out in One Utama though compared to Mid Valley.
There was no queue at all for Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake. My precious said we should try it. So, we bought it. If I have to queue for hours or asked to come back to collect, no way man~!
The cotton cheesecake was purposely packed while it was still hot? Was it done on purpose so that the moisture came from the sweating cake? Our cake was sweating like a pig on a roaster.
The taste was... sorry, I think I have no comment for Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake. If you want to eat it, then just buy. If you don't want to eat, then don't buy. Simple...

KL Food Hunt: This Hawker Place...

We woke up and started hunting for food. We just wanted something simple so we found this kopitiam, I wouldn't call it a restaurant. The stalls were all manned by foreigners. How authentic could it be?
My precious loves char koay teow but we're from Penang, came all the way to KL to have Penang char koay teow? Haih... up to you. You order, I pay. I was a little off key, too. I automatically ordered a plate of wan tan mee and koay teow th'ng, they're both my favourite.
It was not that delicious, all of them. It's okay just need to walk around to get them digested before we continued our hunt for food. I prefer the food in Jalan Alor but we were here in Desa Sri Hartamas.

KL Food Hunt: Little Red Food Truck...

Now... now... what's that red truck opposite the road? We were exploring the old Desa Sri Hartamas area. We found quite a lot of food and was tempted to try a few other things but the stomach would not permit.
The red truck though looked really inviting. We walked across the road and found out that the truck served wrapz of different fillings. We should try it out since we already made an effort to cross the road.
They started preparing the food and another customer came. Hey, we're crowd puller~! Hubby and I tested before where we sat in empty cafes, restaurants and shops and before long it would be packed up and we would leave. Hehehehehe...
Delicious food. Penang has a few food trucks but it was not near me so I have no chance of encountering a food truck in Penang yet.
Thumbs up Litter Red Food Truck. Kipidap~!

KL Food Hunt: TORIDOKI 鶏鬨

This was another outdated post but the restaurant is still standing strong in Desa Sri Hartamas. We walked around the place looking for food. Hungry but choosy~! We came across this place, chicken... we love chicken~!
I don't remember what we ordered but I remembered that the food was good.
Highly recommended by the staff. When you know the food that the restaurant you're working in served really delicious food, you don't have to feel shy to show off a little and brag about it. They're good - I mean the staff and the food~!
