Hybernating...

Will be actively blogging again on the 21st of June 2010. Sorry if the wait is too long. Busy with work and play. In the mean time, just entertain your eyes with my old posts or just listen to the song. God bless~! You have a good time, too...

Hosanna by Hillsong United...

I believe that many of you have songs playing in your head when you least expected it. I have a song and it has been singing away in my head since I woke up. By the time I was cooking in the kitchen, I can't take it anymore and I have to search for the song. I stopped cooking and went online.

As I remembered part of the chorus, it was easier to search for the whole song. Then, I went to mixpod and now I've put it right here in this blog of mine. Enjoy the song~!

This song brings tears to my eyes. I am forever grateful that I've known Him and He loved me first before I love Him. I can play this song over and over again. So, there's no other song for the time being except for this song. His mercy and love endure forever. Say Amen to that~!

I see the King of glory
Coming down the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our knees
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

The Heart of a Writer...

It just struck me the other day that even when I'm not actually physically sitting down to write, I'm thinking of words. I'm thinking of snippets. Phrases and lines, beginnings of articles, middles of articles, parts of blog pieces, mini-plots, wondering about my past characters and if I can do anything more with them. The problem is I don't have the time to sit down and write all of them. So parts of them stay as ideas of possible pieces that may or may not ever be written. Some of the hang around in my head. Some of them are forgotten, only to be suddenly recalled in other situations. Some of them are jotted down in a notebook, or typed up in a haphazard draft document to be looked at at another time. Unfortunately, a lot of them are forgotten in the oblivion of my mind.
I wish there was a way to get the words in my head out on the page, but it doesn't seem to happen. I've thought of using voice recording on my phone, but it just somehow seems weird. The words in my head don't sound right spoken out loud. For a weird reason, the words in my head sound better in black and white - at least for me. I guess that's why I'm not a speaker.

What makes a writer?

Oh, I Can't Go On No More...

Huff... puff...huff...puff... I cannot already... seriously cannot already...

It is so tiring to blog. Fatigue. Lethargic. Just to upload the photos and then get everything organized... it's killing me. I think I cannot overstrain myself with blogging. I think I will just stretch another year just to write about my holiday trips. Another one coming... where got strength to upload in Facebook and blog about them...

I salute to those who are able to blog in great length with uncountable number of photos. My shoulder blade is aching. The whole body is aching looking at the computer screen and staring at the cursor. Need to slow down already....

No more stamina to online for 7 hours straight in a day...

St. Kilda...

Get your tickets and board the tram at Flinders Station. It's just less than half an hour and you'll find yourself in St. Kilda. You'll meet up with that statue once you step out of your tram. The beach is so beautiful that I dare not even tell about our Batu Ferringhi Beach. Our beach in Penang is sort of an embarrassment compared to what they have there.
Of course I'm not just going to stare at the beach from afar. Let's move closer...
Dump your bags on the beach and go frolicking in the sun. I can't do that as I have the wrong attire to the beach.
You hardly see this on our beach. You might be sniffing into horse poo or horse pee... even the beach buggy might bulldoze over you. Well... I'm tanned enough and I sunbathe everyday without fail... hahahhaha....
Other than sun-bathing, there are jet skis... or you can bring your table tennis bat and play ping-pong by the beach. Cool~! Why not dip yourself into the icy water... to me it's really icy and I might even turn blue staying in that sea for less than a minute.
Walk-the-dog. I'm not talking about yo-yo style... walk your dogs... evening walk... lucky dogs.
Hey~! Whose prints were that? Pinky and I were arguing about chicken prints and dog prints. We're very sure they're chicken prints but there weren't any chickens around...
They were prints made by some birds... Then, we were strolling by the beach... collecting sand in the shoes and saw this sign...
.... but that black shaggy dog just came out of the sea after skinny dipping itself...
Let's go to the rows of shops...
I WANT ONE OF EACH~!

That's not all~! I'm not done with St. Kilda yet. Bro drove us back here at night and I had such a great time looking at wild penguins... met some good Samaritans who happened to bring a torch and shine it on the penguins so that I can snap some good photos. No camera flash is allowed there. Me... being the law abiding tourist... did not switch on the camera flash... but still I managed to capture these...

Docklands...

Just hop onto the City Circle and Docklands will be the last stop. Hop off and you'll come face to face with Harbour Town...
There are rows of shops for you to do some window shopping. Well... when you consider the exchange rate then you'll know why I ask you to just go do some window shopping. Clothes... I can always shop in Penang where I can get good bargains.
There are lots of handmade chocolates compared to what we have over here. Too expensive but definitely chocolaty-delicious.
Now... walk right to the end of the pathway, you can see this...
I'm not sure whether they still have the lunch set at only AUD$15. The food there was awesome~! It's not only window shopping and eating that you can do there. Walk across the street to Waterfront City.
Madame Edna... I didn't know who she is until I went to Paney Chocolate Factory and found out who Madame Edna was. She was quite a lady... well-known in the theatrical world. Walk further until you reach...
Catch a glimpse of all those yacht and boats that will always be a dream to own one unless God sends me one.
I've been on a speedboat before and I really love it. I wish I can have a ride on that thing. Better still if I have the opportunity to drive it myself.
That's Zephyr... and the details are as captured...
Docklands is not as boring as it sounds. It's a newly opened place. You can do some shopping in DFO - Direct Factory Outlet. Almost an equivalent as what we have in OFO - Overrun Factory Outlet. They're not reject but the factories over-produced the numbers exceeded by what was required. Need to exercise your limbs? Nah... not a gym in Docklands... but you'll surely enjoy this.... ICE- SKATING...
It's all about balancing your body and telling your legs how to move... it's pretty simple. I love skating... both ice-skating and in-line skating...

Trotting Down Victoria City...

Hhhmmm.... let's see... I shall start from Flinder's Street because that's where I stayed. Right down the road is Flinder's Station something like our Komtar or Sg Nibong Bus Terminal but that's for trains and trams. Slight difference then or should I say vast difference? *shrugs*
Next, there are Collins Street, Bourke Street, Londale Street, William Street, Queen Street, Elizabeth Street, King Street and many other streets for me to explore. I like Bourke Street the most as that's where I find the shopping malls.... next to each other...
Before that, by the road side of Federation Square, I saw this amazing truck...
... you don't even have to guess what they're selling. That's for summer collection but by the look of the design and dull colours... yikes.... I didn't know they're 'into' this kinda cut... it's such a no-no for me... too plain...
I have not even seen a stray dog or cat along the streets... I only met one stray dog... and it's a fake one...
In Melbourne, I did a lot of things which I'll never do and I've never done before in my own home country. I was sashaying into boutiques after boutiques, all the designer stores and I have my fingerprints on everything that I know I won't buy even if I'm a millionaire....
... and lots more. Too many photos to show but they're all in my facebook photo albums. I've read about Tiffany in storybooks and now, I get to step into the store and hold those bling-bling in my hand...
Eerrr... maybe I have different taste of jewelleries. I like those which are fanciful and rare designs. Swarovski has so many designs... like them from afar but once I have them in my hands... no... I'm not gonna put them on. I think I'll stay loyal to white gold, rose gold and diamonds. Not for me to comment just that I don't have that excitement when I looked at those blinks. Usually when you see all those jewelleries, your head becomes giddy and you're seeing stars, and your heart just beats faster and you'll have to buy it or else you're not gonna leave the shop...
Hohoho.... that's my first time shaking my legs, sipping hot chocolate in a cafe. I had all the time in the world and that's what I called a H-O-L-I-D-A-Y~! I think I can just sit there whole day, looking at people passing by, trying to figure out what's the rush for other people and feeling happy for yourself. And then it makes you wonder how blessed you are that all of a sudden, you're surrounded by strangers who turned out to be your friends, better than the friends that you've known for your whole life.
This is my first time taking a photo with my own brother~! We're neither black nor white. The perfect tan... we're brown~! Hahahahaha.... we're so roasted.... and I'm proud to announce to the world that I love my Japanese eyes. I'll put Japan in my list of places to visit before I die...
Oh..~! There's such a thing there. I checked that I wasn't in Kelantan... weird... No ladies sit there, too. Sexism...?

Wrong Attitudes...[139]

Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
[Ephesians 4:21]

Things I shouldn't do:
  • Live as the unsaved do...
  • Follow my old evil nature...

  • Lie...

  • Nurse a grudge...
  • Let the sun go down on my anger...

  • Let the devil get a foothold...
  • Use bad language...

  • Grieve or cause the Holy Spirit sorrow...

  • Be mean...
  • Be bad tempered and angry...
  • Quarrel...
  • Say harsh words...
  • Dislike others...
~ Bad habits are like comfortable beds. They are easy to get into, but hard to get out of ~
You, however, did not come to know Christ that way.
[Ephesians 4:20]
"Don't put flowers on the coffin of your past."
Leave those things buried and don't try to resurrect them.
Today, I will examine my life and deal with any of these defeating characteristics.
