The Power of the Tongue...[2]

Add Image

What you are shouts so loudly in my ears, I cannot hear what you say.

We want to be heard all the time. We want people to hear us, hear our opinions, our new ideas and anything that's in our mind. There are people who go all way out just to be heard. In this modern era, we don't really use our voice and scream until the voice box burst. We scream through writing. I know how powerful my writing can be. I can tear down a person by just typing it out. I'm able to make a person laugh through my writing. No doubt, I can make a person who is so gentle, burn up in fury. I can create different emotions and at the same time, I can go so bland, you're able to taste the bitterness of what I have to say about something. I know all my writings reflect on what type of a person I am. I have never say I'm a nice person neither do I say I'm a bad person. You're not here to judge me but to read what I write... isn't that why you're here?

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
[James 3:6]

Now, I'll be doing a different type of writing. I'm practising my writing skill to build you up.

I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth as long as the wicked are in my presence."
[Psalms 39:1]

I'm not the only one who is quick to lash out at people. Most people do that. When you're not happy with a person, you are quick to point out that person's mistake and eventually that person's flaws become a hot topic of discussion among your friends. Little children are doing that, too. As I have to deal with kids every day, I hear a lot of stuff from schools. Not a single teacher in school has been spared from the kids' lashing tongue. Even a 7-year-old knows how to complain. Teenagers... they wow! me. If I let them speak, they can go on and on and they refuse to go home even after their class has ended. They gossip about their friends so those who fall out of their group are victimised. There's not much I can do, as all of them practise different types of listening skills.
..but no man can tame the tongue.
[James 3:8]

If you use your ears and start to listen to conversations happening around you. Just listen. There's not one who builds people up. They are just idle words to keep the mouth moving. How are we different from others then?

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.
[James 1:26]
Simply said, if there's nothing to talk about just keep quiet and enjoy the silence. Everyone loves to be praised but hardly is there anyone who is willing to offer praises to other people. There are those who pray but do not praise the Lord but instead, ask for everything earthly from God. When God didn't answer those prayers, they will say God is not a God who answers prayers. Once in awhile, give someone close to you a word of encouragement, a word of praise. It will surely brighten up that person's day. You will be happy too to see them smiling, a warm and sincere smile.

Try out this experiment on yourself and see that really the power of your tongue works wonders..... but be warn that i am not responsible in the event when your experiment works.

Wake up tomorrow and face yourself in front of the mirror . Say aloud that I have a fever, headache, stomachache and ......, belief what you say ... viollaaa.... u will be sick in a short while....
Dont say that i teach u huh!!!!!
Test it out on your own and dont blame me.... you ask for it then get what u ask for....

It is reversible. Pull yourself together. Think positively. Grab a mirror. Tell yourself. There's no headache. The fever is gone and it's all in the head! Works for sleepiness, too. Tell yourself you have a fresh mind and smile at yourself.
