Day 7: Sunny Lake Wonder, Shuishe...

~ 20th March 2014 ~
As we got off the boat at Shuishe Harbour, it was not dinner time yet. So, we became adventurous and walked along the path not taken. No one followed us. Good. We wouldn't want to bring a whole load of people with us wherever we went. There was a white dog standing at those steps. Just at the start of the steps, there's a signboard with an arrow pointing on the steps, leading towards Sunny Lake Wonder. We marched on as the dog went ahead of us. I have a photo of the dog but it's too blur to be put up.
There's a hiking trail called Hanbi Trail. Then, there's a Plum Lotus Garden 10 meters away which we couldn't find. We couldn't find the Hanbi hiking trail neither could we find the plum lotus garden but we ended up at the doorstep of the Church of Christ 60 metres away from us.

How we manage to go so far, we didn't know that. It's amazing of us not to find the two places nearest to us.
The walkway was really beautiful. Maybe that's the Plum Lotus Garden? I don't see any plum trees and definitely no lotus plants. Oh, wow... where were we? But we caught the spectacular view of the National Scenic Area of Sun Moon Lake. Of course I took many photos.
My travel buddy was really tired. If I'm not wrong, she must be thinking of her bowls and bowls of rice. We did not have much for breakfast and our late lunch was eaten at the Amusement Isle. Just our two plates of bear rice shared among the three of us. Everything has been digested and long gone down the tracts waiting to be released.
When we first arrived, we said that we would find a cute little cafe and sit there to have coffee while looking out at the beautiful lake view. I don't drink coffee. My travel buddy doesn't drink coffee. Mi mama doesn't drink coffee after certain hours or she will be an owl for the whole night. I'm glad to have Pinky as my travel buddy. Really glad....
