We arrived home around midnight the previous night and I packed quickly for another week away from 'home'. Mi madre and I had to catch a 9:30a.m. flight to Sydney the next morning. Mr. Ma dropped us off at the Toorak Station on the way to work. We had to make our way to the Southern Cross Station, board a shuttle bus to the airport and before the flight, swallow some breakfast. There's no lunch again... why, oh why?!?!
This was our second domestic flight in Australia. We flew more than we took a cab. We've never taken a cab in Australia before to be exact. At first we thought of taking a train ride and stopping in between to explore, but flying was way more economical.
As we wished Melbourne goodbye, we were surprised with how congested Sydney looked. Upon arrival, the feel of Sydney was like Kuala Lumpur while Melbourne felt like I was back in Shenzhen, China. No wonder so many mainland Chinese in Melbourne because the whole place really felt like China.
