The Lady: Aung San Suu Kyi

I don't remember the last time I've ever finished watching a movie without falling asleep halfway. I decided to watch the Lady at midnite and by the time I was done watching, it was already almost 3 a.m. It was a very good movie.

If you've never heard of Aung San Suu Kyi just Google her name and you can have every piece of information about her struggles for Myanmar. If some of you have heard a little about her and sometimes you have a busybody question like where is her husband and where is the rest of her family members while she was fighting for her country to have the rights to vote democratically instead of being ruled by the oppressive military junta, you seriously need to watch this movie.

It was one struggle that no awards that she has won will be able to redeemed the lost time with her family. It was one movement that she has taken up for her country and eventually, the family has been sacrificed. Imagine being house arrested for 15 years, with no Internet and no books to read. One would have jumped out of the window or hear voices, but she persevered for her country. With no family members around her, I seriously do not know where she found the strength to keep on fighting or to keep on living. Even her husband has been taken away from her by cancer.

I hope she can be the next Prime Minister for Myanmar, she deserves it more than anything else. Hopefully the people of her country will back her up 100% and have the courage to keep the good fight to release the whole country out of bondage. It's seriously worth watching. Go watch~!!
