Dim Sum... Anyone?

One of my favourites, too. Usually I do not take breakfast as I wake up just in time to get ready and get going. Or I'm too lazy to eat breakfast as lunch is just a few hours away. Or I need to go to the gym so I can't go to the gym with a full stomach. Come over to my place... the dim sum is just downstairs. I don't even have to drive all the way to the old Sunshine Farlim where there will be so many people yet not that delicious...tasted weird, in fact. By far, this is the best that I've ever eaten. It's a family affair...

Mother in charge of keeping the food hot and nice plus keeping the money. Not expensive if you see the amount of hardwork they put in. It takes them hours and hours, standing, making all those bite-size dim sum and we take less than a second to pick it up using the chopsticks and another second to pop them in our mouth and another couple of minutes to chew. Worth every single cent...

Son and dad busy deep-frying. Daughter busy serving customers with...

tea... I'll go without drinks. I DISLIKE TEA! I dislike the smell, the taste and the colour! But, will still drink if forced to. Let's see what we have here, I don't know the names except for siew mai and har kow and lor mai kai and chee cheong fun and char siew pao... got egg tart also but the rest, as long as got prawns inside, I'll take. Simply delicious...

Can see or not? Not clear enough... wait har...

Hungry? Still got lots more but I'm too hungry to even hold the camera, not to mention clicking on the button. ELLEX.. come back! We have lots of stuff to do together... one day not enuf...

A One Day Tourist...

Let the pictures do the talking...Went to get the tickets for the tram. I thought it was gonna be expensive but then to my surprise...I didn't realize that many people from outstation would come.

I'm a Penangnite but I can't seem to find any place exciting. As usual, people do not know how to queue up. Just push, push and PUSH and I joined the PUSHING crowd...then suddenly,"OOHhh! Look! The train is here."

After much pushing and elbowing, ended up without a seat also...

The train was extremely slow. I love fast... not slow. But the good side of the slowness was I had the opportunity to snap some pics. Saw houses, some already run down, some huge mansion. If I have a house up there, I would die there. I will be too lazy to even get out of the house, not to mention get down from the hill to get food supply.

Oh, I know! I won't die of hunger, I will die of mosquito bites. This is interesting... rear ducks. Then, everyday eat roast duck? Or just their pets?

I was starting to get impatient. Why so long also cannot reach?? How long more? Had to change train at mid station.. I don't care! I want a seat.. and I got what I wanted - as usual!

Eh! If the train spoil then how? Hike all the way up? *faint*

Still a long way to go.. you want to read my blog so much.. you read slowly.. as slow as the train up the Penang Hill - that's why until now after so many pics still haven't reach the top :) *Sigh* Still a long way to go...

It wasn't Christmas. Just had the urge to shout out loud when I saw that Christmas tree. Reach liao! Hehe... happy :D Let's look at the beautiful scenery of Penang from the top...

Where to go next?

I didn't see any canopy walk. Ellex, you come back quickly... we go search for that canopy walk. I didn't see anything else except for beautiful scenery and the mosque. Where are all those bungalows and tiger hill and western hill?? Aku jumpa pasar malam atas bukit...

Infrastructures for the residents in Penang Hill....




If I manage to climb all the way up to the Klinik Kesihatan, it proves one thing - I'm not that sick. If I can crawl all the way up to the police station, then proves that it's not a big issue. If I am able to go to the post office to post a letter, it shows that it's not any big news that needs to be sent in a hurry. If I show myself up at TM to pay my utility bills - telling you that my electric, water and phone line have been cut off, thus I'm desperate to get all those back as soon as possible!

You can't blame me for being silly. Let's dance on the street... no cars leh... in town cannot do like that... mati kena lanyak kereta atau bas Rapid...
Walk some more... I love the coolness... love the view... and love the people accompanying me. Hhhmm... what's that?

Oh, have I ever mention that I own a house up in Penang Hill. I totally forget that I have a house up here...come.. follow me up the stairs... watch where you're going.. there's moss growing in between and even on the surface of the bricks.. I won't want you to fall down.. the hospital is very far away...

Everything was freaking expensive! No wonder no customers. Spaghetti RM58 per plate... with that kinda money I can feed 50 people with spaghetti plus seafood! Chicken pie.... waiter... how big is the chicken pie? Waiter said it's small... just enough for one person... and it's RM48.. that I can make another 30 chicken pies. In conclusion, I can supply a decent meal with at least 8 dishes for 80 people... I ended up with this shared among 3 people...

Creme brule.. RM18... cannot even fill up one-tenth of my rumbling stomach. Delicious, though. Time to head back for a proper lunch... but then the monkey made my stomach full with laughter..


Right until now I couldn't figure out... YOU... a monkey.. dropped down from the tree holding on to that dead tree branch with your four limbs... are you mad or what? I'm sorry for laughing straight in your face. I just can't help it. I know I tore your ego and shattered your pride. I'm sorry really sorry but hahahahaaha.... I can't stop laughing looking at your facial expression when you realized you were on the ground and not on the tree anymore. You know what... you were lucky there was no other monkey around or else... I won't know how will you face your frens and family... hahahaha Why didn't you jump and grab hold of other branches? Your heart must be pounding really fast, yeah. I've never met a monkey like you. Guess... animals are just like humans. Or humans are just like animals?? Which one? Now, I'm confuse.. I better continue walking to the train station before my stomach scream for food...

WTH!!!Lady... are you crazy or what? I even refuse to carry my own bag and you're carrying your dog in a cage all the way up to Penang Hill? I salute to you... the doggie inside the carrier must be thinking where on Earth am I... the cage kept on swinging from the left to the right and forward and backward. I pity your doggie... sure kena severe headache...
Can't wait to go home now... On the way home liao....

*LX Ting.. this post took me 4 freaking hours just to upload and arrange the pics... I really want to minta MC from you... I temporary stop blogging for a few weeks..ok ok.. maybe a few days. It's already 11:25am and I haven't brush my teeth.. and obviously belum mandi.. I'm suppose to go to the gym at 8am now have to go so late.... and I am hungry. I am going to kira with you kao kao!!*
