The Existence of God...

My plan to read the Bible in one year didn't fall through. I just couldn't follow a scheduled reading. I'm totally stressed out following to the dot which book and chapter to read and how many chapters to read in a day in order to finish the whole book in a year's time. I'm just not capable to follow through and I turned my head away from the Bible. I have not been touching it for two weeks or so and suddenly there's this yearning to read His Words. I hunger for His Words. So, I finally tell myself to read at my own pace and forget about following anything. I'm glad I've managed to get some fruitful reading done instead of leafing through without knowing what I'm reading.
Let's see what the Bible is all about. First of all, the Bible is not a textbook that attempts to prove the existence of God, instead the Bible opens with a positive fact that God does exist.
An atheist, in the eyes of the Lord, is a fool as there are scriptures to prove the existence of God.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
[Psalm 19:1]

and

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
[Romans 1:20]

Even the people of Athens at that time built an altar to the unknown God.

For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.
[Acts 17:23]

Conscience told them that there was a God though they did not known Him personally.
Men deny the existence of God not because they cannot find Him. The atheist's real purpose in denying the existence of God is they are afraid to face the responsibility of being accountable to Him after death. Atheism is one of the devil's tools to put men to sleep without accepting salvation. The best argument from cause to prove the existence of God is simply the world is here. Someone must have caused it to come into being at one time or another. The Earth is a design to prove God's existence as it is a result of a plan of a superior planning mind of the originator. God is definitely not an inanimate force. Man has an intellectual and moral nature for the Creator is a moral Being that is holy and loves righteousness but abhors evil. There is a life argument that proves God's existence. Life comes from life and the original life must have come from a Being possessing eternal life, that is, life that existed before physical life was created.
The prerequisite for faith in God is as simple as having a child's faith, believing and trusting Him completely. Simply believe that He exists... isn't that simple enough than denying that there's a living God?
